One very spoiled Ravenclaw!

Ok, I'm seriously a ditz. I've been so swamped with work and getting the house ready to sell, and then was working like crazy to get the kit out for Buttercup, that I completely forgot I would be getting a kit myself! I got home today and saw a package on the stoop and thought, Hmmm, what in the world is that? Such a lovely surprise it was! Agatha, you did a wonderful job. I'm crazy about my bag, and can't wait to start the kit you sent me. Inside, I found:

I love this bag. Love it love it love it.

Did I say I LOVE the bag. Love it. Totally love it. The picture doesn't do it justice. And of course the first project that will go in it is going to be the Dante's Purse. Agatha included all the yarn and fabric I need, even the sewing thread. And the best part is that I've recently found an all new love for sewing, so the timing is perfect. And yes, I know I should be working on one of my already existing projects, but I don't care. I've got some wonderful bamboo yarn to work with, and the casein needles I've been dying to try. I also got some Chibi needles, which are my favorites, and some yummy treats (which of course I'm eating as I write this.)

And my kit inspector heartily approves:

That is Pepper, wondering if the thread would make a good toy. He wasn't very interested in the Jelly Belly's, since there weren't any fish or mouse flavored ones.

  1. I'm glad you got it! Let me know how the bag turns out! I found the pattern on your ravelry faves and have never seen it before. I might try it out, after I'm finished all of my school stuff :)
